Unveiled in 2017, the FPS Dark-Fantasy Witchfire shows itself more during the Summer Game Fest. The images, particularly enticing, present a tortured universe mixing medieval world, diabolical creatures and well-worn firearms.
A mix of Doom and Dark Souls?
Developed by The Astronauts, a studio from Poland, Witchfire presents itself as a demanding shooter at the crossroads between Doom and Dark Souls. In first-person view, Witchfire offers an intense experience in which it will be necessary to use the many firearms available, as well as some welcome spells to overcome the witches, the church and the terrible creatures that will rise. on the road.
In addition to these pronounced visual and thematic inspirations, the teams of The Astronauts had already mentioned before the style of gameplay they intended to offer within Witchfire. As these images confirm, the title should take us on a fairly rhythmic experience, with frantic gunfights, inspired in particular by previous apps on which Polish teams such as shooters were able to work. If the game doesn’t have a release date yet, Witchfire is expected to come to PC soon via the Epic Games Store.
