Wilfrid Mbappé TV consultant during the World Cup

Wilfrid Mbappé, father of the PSG striker, will officiate on the New World Sport channel during the World Cup in Qatar (November 20-December 18).

New World Sport offers itself a prestigious recruit. This Friday, the Togolese television channel, the one and only holder of the rights to broadcast in French in the French-speaking countries of sub-Saharan Africa for the next World Cup, announced that Wilfrid Mbappé would be part of its team of consultants to the Qatari World Cup.

Consultant within a team also composed of Adebayor or Boli

The father of the Paris Saint-Germain striker will officiate within a team of consultants also made up of Emmanuel Adebayor, Patrick Mboma, Basile Boli and Bonaventure Kalou. In its press release, New World Sport, which has appointed Christian Jeanpierre as content manager, specifies that the channel will exclusively offer, for all French-speaking African countries, the 64 matches with paid access to the World Cup, for broadcast in French.

The 51-year-old father of Kylian Mbappé enjoyed a career as a midfielder at AS Bondy, where the 2018 world champion made his debut. He then became a trainer at the Saint-Denis club, before taking care of his son’s interests from the start of his professional career.
