Three injured including one seriously in the accident which paralyzes the A8 motorway this Monday morning

Three people were injured, one of whom was in serious condition, in the accident which paralyzed the A8 motorway this Monday, November 21 at the start of the day.

This accident, which occurred shortly before 6:30 a.m. just after the Antibes toll gate, in the direction of Nice, involved two cars and a two-wheeler, according to a spokesperson for the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of the Alpes-Maritimes ( Sdis 06).

As is often the case, the driver of the two-wheeler paid the highest price. Medicalized on site by the Smur d’Antibes, he was immediately transported to the Pasteur II hospital in Nice. He was then in serious condition, but it is not known if his vital prognosis was engaged.

The accident completely congested the A8 motorway this Monday, November 21 at the start of the day: at 8:30 a.m., two hours after the fact, the traffic jams were still enormous. The usual travel times were extended by almost two hours in the west-east direction, and a “curiosity jam” had formed in the other direction.
