A time targeted by Paris Saint-Germain, Ivan Ilic (21) could well discover Ligue 1, but with the Marseille rival! As we revealed to you exclusively recently, Olympique de Marseille is very close to enlisting the young midfielder from Hellas Verona. A talent for which the Italian club still claims 15 M€.
However, there is another club that Ilic craves, and that’s Torino. And the Piedmontese team has a few tricks up its sleeve. A concrete offer has been made, but where Marseille offer additional bonuses, the Italian club want to include Swedish defender Isak Hien. And that’s not all. The Turin team is counting on its Serbo-Croatian contingent (Vanja Milinković-Savić, Saša Lukić, Nemanja Radonjić, Nikola Vlašić) to convince the 21-year-old Serb to join Piedmont.
The Toro increases its offer
Without forgetting the presence of Ivan Jurić on the bench of Torino. And for those who didn’t know, it was the coach who launched Ilic in Serie A. As you will have understood, the OM competitor relies a lot on affect to recruit Ilic. But beware, Sky Italia tells us that Torino has also decided to revise its offer upwards. The media reminds us that OM offered €16m plus €3m in bonuses while the transalpine club only offered €11m.
Well the Toro now offers 14 M€ plus bonuses, without forgetting the Scandinavian Hien. He did not align himself with the Marseille proposal, but Torino is now counting on this increase and on the player’s will to make a difference. And obviously, the hope of overtaking OM has grown in recent hours on the other side of the Alps.
