While the official launch is only scheduled for September 27 at 3 p.m., several members of our Discord have spotted the appearance of the Ryzen 5 7600X, Ryzen 7 7700X, Ryzen 9 7900X and Ryzen 9 7950X at Cdiscount. To our knowledge, these are the first prices displayed in France for these new Ryzen 7000 processors which, it should be remembered, are built around ZEN 4. The other big change concerns their design since they will only be compatible with the AM5 socket which will land in a first time on motherboards benefiting from the X670E chipset. No need to rush to these processors since compatible motherboards are not yet available. Finally, be aware that you will also need a DDR5 memory kit.
Regarding prices, Cdiscount displays a price of 409.99€ for the Ryzen 5 7600X, 589.99€ for the Ryzen 7 7700X, 749.99€ for the Ryzen 9 7900X and finally 1099.99€ for the high-end model Ryzen 9 7950X. If we compare with what was announced by AMD during their conference, we are not really in the same price range, especially for the Ryzen 9 7950X and its 16 cores.
It remains to be seen if these prices are final or if they will adapt on the day of the official launch. Still a little patience.
