PARIS, November 24 (Reuters) – The stocks to watch on Thursday on the Paris Stock Exchange and in Europe:

* RÉMY COINTREAU RCOP.PA on Thursday reported a 27.2% rise in first-half operating profit, more than expected, thanks in particular to buoyant demand for its high-end cognac in China and in the United States and cost control.

* EDF EDF.PA – Luc Rémont officially takes the reins of the French energy group in the process of being renationalised. The State announced Wednesday evening that its simplified takeover bid for the group at a price of 12 euros per share and 15.52 euros per Oceane would take place from November 24 to December 22.

* TELEPERFORMANCE TEPRF.PA, suspected of violating working conditions in Colombia, announced Thursday that it had entered into discussions with UNI Global Union, a global union federation representing employees in service activities in 150 countries.

* KINGFISHER KGF.L – The British DIY store group on Thursday maintained its financial forecast for the 2022-2023 financial year after a good resistance of its sales on a like-for-like basis in the third quarter, linked to a strong demand for products allowing to realize energy savings.

* ATLANTIA ATL.MI – The takeover bid launched by the Benetton family and the American investment fund Blackstone BX.N on the Italian infrastructure group has reached the 90% threshold allowing the operation to continue and a delisting of the company from the stock exchange, the two acquirers said on Thursday.

* ENGIE ENGIE.PA announced on Thursday that it had concluded with Google

GOOGL.O a 12-year power purchase agreement for 100 MW, as part of the development of an offshore wind project off the coast of Scotland.

* RENAULT RENA.PA, VOLTALIA VLTSA.PA – The renewable energy specialist announced on Thursday the signing with the automaker of a solar electricity supply contract for a period of fifteen years and a capacity of 350 megawatts , representing an annual production of approximately 500 gigawatt hours.

* LDC LOUP.PA – The French poultry specialist confirmed its 2022-2027 strategic plan on Wednesday after reporting higher operating profit and turnover over one year in the first half.

* MANUTAN INTERNATIONAL MATP.PA reported on Wednesday an increase in turnover and net income of 10.6% and 20.2% respectively for the 2021-2022 financial year and announced that it is considering the payment of a dividend per share of 1.80 euro.
