Our opinion: BLUE GRANVILLAISE (14)
Dauphine of Flamme du Goutier (18) last year, without having the best course, this champion has regained her freshness since her impressive success in the Prix Jules Lemonnier (Gr.2). Without incident, she will not be far from the truth.
Impressive in the Prix Jules Lemonnier (Gr.2), posting the sensational reduction in mileage of 1’09”9, Granvillaise Bleue (14) approaches her big winter goal in full possession of her means. She will try to follow in the footsteps of her illustrious color companion Jag de Bellouet, triple winner of this Group 1 in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Flamme du Goutier (18) deprived our favorite of success last year at the cost of a superb final rush. Ridden for the first time by the double Etrier d’Or, Mathieu Mottier, she will simply need an economical course to place her formidable point at the right time. Still undefeated under saddle, Hanna des Molles (10) made an impression in Qualif 2. After experiencing immense joy in this event with Bilibili, the Abrivard family undoubtedly has its new jewel in the specialty. Happy and Lucky (8), who rose to the top of the hierarchy of his promotion last season, and Hirondelle du Rib (9), trained by the record holder of victories (8) in this Prix de Cornulier, can legitimately run for a square. Fifth in the last edition, Gladys des Plaines (12) has certainly progressed on her recent performance in “Calvados” and can do at least as well. Fado de Chêne (16), although only tackled by the forelegs, and Zarenne Fas (15), whose end of the race in the Prix Jules Lemonnier (Gr.2) cannot leave anyone indifferent, will complete our selection.
