ANALYSIS – The High Committee for Equality between Women and Men (HCE) has published a report describing endemic sexism in our country. A biased barometer in the service of a militant conception of feminism.
This is what emerges from the 2023 sexism barometer of the High Council for Equality between Women and Men. A statement to the contrary would have surprised us, from a body that lives off the scourge it denounces.
“Serious observation”, “strong stereotypes”, “insufficient means”, “terrible experiences”: to read the alarmist tone of these 40 pages, one has the impression that France is the fatherland of masculinists. However, 83% of respondents believe that whistling a woman in the street is an obvious manifestation of sexism, 87% think that a woman can be President of the Republic, 77% of men think that the barbecue is not just a men’s business. All the clichés associated with women are in the minority in the opinion, except “Men must protect women”, which is the majority… including among women (65%)! Should they also be re-educated?
