We no longer present Guillaume Genton. Since the end of 2020, he has been one of the leading and essential columnists of Do not touch My TV. But it was in the shadows that he had been evolving for much longer behind the scenes of the show, in close collaboration with Cyril Hanouna. Indeed, the host of C8 gave the atypical blonde of the band a chance five years ago by entrusting him with the production of programs and documentaries on the channel. An area that has always fascinated Guillaume Genton, he who has made it his profession.
At only 31 years old, he is a successful entrepreneur, at the helm of several companies. It all started with Genton Productions in 2015, his box which works for all the actors of the PAF and today employs about thirty employees. “I start by selling small subjects to NRJ 12, C8... Then I started making documentaries and streaming programs for France Télévisions, Canal+. Then, in 2019, I climbed Kennedy Agency, specializing in 3D design for shows, graphic design, augmented reality… Here we work with Amazon, Netflix, Endemol, TF1. I also have a communication box for companies, Blondeand a music publishing studio, Rangespecializing in music for television. The idea being to fully control the production chain“, he listed during an interview for the magazine Technikart.
“Tens of thousands of euros” spent per month
At the same time, Guillaume Genton has found the time to host Virgin Radio’s daily morning show since August. Multiple activities that allow him to earn a lot (a lot) of money. For example, our colleagues who went to meet him in the Bois de Boulogne at dawn were able to spot him from afar in his luxury clothes and accompanied by his driver who drives his Porsche Cayenne (because yes, Guillaume does not have a license, we learn). Very rich therefore, he nevertheless claims to have “a healthy relationship” with money. “I do not hide from loving money (…). It is above all a sign of success in what one does professionally. I like comfort but I don’t like to show it vulgarly on social networks. What I like above all is to share it around me“, he confided.
To benefit others but also to please himself. Even a little too much. Guillaume Genton has already confessed in Do not touch My TV spend lavishly, up to 25,000 euros per month. “I said ‘several tens of thousands of euros’ and he stopped at 25,000 euros“, he nuanced. Anyway, a big part goes to pay the rent of his luxury apartment with a view of the Eiffel Tower, as well as that of his house near Paris. “I have the chance to earn a good living, but I am not at all thrifty, I am extremely spendthrift. (…) I spend on trips, restaurants, I’m a good living but having millions in my account or in real estate, I’m not interested“, he added.
